The scene opens up Wednesday evening at the Longhorn Steakhouse in Columbus, Georgia. Bobbi and Eliza had agreed to eat at another place due to the issues the two had with Outback late last week.
Bobbi sat in the booth looking a bit tired as she sipped on her drink only returning from Japan to the States a few short hours ago. But she wasn't going to stand up Eliza like she believes the curvy brunette did to her in Los Angeles on Friday. She just hopes this time her ex girlfriend actually shows up.
Deep down Bobbi is hopeful that one on one without social media and other people around to butt in, she might actually be able to get through to the person she used to love with all her heart. The time ticks on and just as Bobbi thinks she might've been stood up again the employees take notice of quite the heavenly sight comes bursting in to the restaurant, brushing aside a waiter who was merely trying to ask whether she needed to be seated. Eliza Frost lowers her round shades as she looks about the dining area, then spots Bobbi and walks right on up to her, a crimson red dress tightly hugging her shapely figure. Bobbi motions to the opposite side of the booth and gives Eliza a pleasant and friendly smile wanting this dinner to go well.
Bobbi: Happy to see you found the place. I haven't ordered yet. Didn't want to do anything until you arrived. Sit down, relax. We've got nothing but time.
Eliza nods as she takes a seat opposite Bobbi, taking her shades off and tucking them away in her purse.
Eliza: I made sure to reserve plenty of time too.
Her eyes meet Bobbi's as she lifts her gaze, staring right at her ex-lover, a certain intensity in her stare. Bobbi squirms a bit in her seat as that stare was a bit TOO intense for her liking as she picks up her drink taking another sip before responding.
Bobbi: Glad to hear it, I feel like we have a lot to talk about...
The blonde responds simply not wanting to make this dinner confrontational at all if she can help it.
Eliza: Heh, now THAT is putting it mildly.
The shapely brunette brushes her hair over her shoulder while she leans back and crosses her legs.
Bobbi: Yea....
Bobbi says with a soft sigh as she flips through her menu a bit as she speaks casually to Eliza.
Bobbi: So....where would you like to start...?
Eliza shrugs her shoulders a bit as she picks her menu up to browse it as well.
Eliza: Wherever you'd like, you DID invite me for this chat after all.
She scrunches her face up a bit at something listed and flips a few pages ahead.
Bobbi: So I guess we start at the beginning...
Bobbi says looking up from her menu.
Bobbi: I thought things were going really good between us. I thought we were becoming close friends again. That made me really happy. But then you went and joined up with the Court and attacked Alexa...why did you do that...?
There is an obvious look of sadness in the blondes brown eyes. It's very clear that this whole situation has hurt her deeply and even with everything that has happened, she's still trying to patch things up. Eliza averts her eyes as she scoffs a bit, putting her menu down.
Eliza: Alexa hated my guts from the start, I could see it clear as day, so I sure ain't sorry about showing her what I do to those who get between me and what I want.
She turns her gaze back to Bobbi, that intensity returning to her eyes.
Eliza: You know very well I wanted more than to be friends.
Bobbi: Then why did you let me leave to begin with?
Bobbi says quite bluntly. As Eliza had every opportunity to try and patch things up with the blonde but never did. To her the brunette only seems to care now that she's happy and has found someone else.
Eliza: Look, I...
Eliza sighs a bit and hangs her head, taking a moment to try and gather her thoughts on the matter.
Eliza: ...I'm not good at... making myself vulnerable. At reaching out though I expect I might get slapped down for it. The way you left... I didn't see much hope. But over time I realized...
Her expression has softened noticeably as she lifts her gaze to meet Bobbi's again.
Eliza: ...not taking the risk... it hurt more.
Bobbi sighs as well.
Bobbi: And you couldn't just reach out and tell me? Even a text message or a DM would have been a good start you know? I lived in Pittsburgh for a very long time before moving out to Los Angeles...
Bobbi looks down shaking her head a bit.
Bobbi: I just wish you would have taken the risk, because even if we hadn't ended back up together. We could have become friends again. We could have worked out how we were feeling. Both of us...things could have been better. I just know it...
Bobbi says with a sad tone in her voice, because truly fighting and arguing with her ex girlfriend is one of the last things she wants to do. Eliza looks down again, then closes her eyes, taking a slow, deep breath before speaking again.
Eliza: Perhaps. Unfortunately, what's done is done. I was not yet ready to take that plunge. And by the time I was, you were flaunting your new girlfriend all over social media.
Her stare hardens again as she looks across the table at Bobbi, almost looking disgusted at the very mention of Alexa.
Bobbi: You do realize I wasn't flaunting right...?
Bobbi says trying to explain herself.
Bobbi: I was alone for a very long time. I was sad, I was miserable. I didn't really feel like I had any reason to do anything anymore. Finding Alexa gave me a reason to actually CARE about things again. I wasn't trying to flaunt her. I was just happy to start sharing my life again with people because she gave me the confidence to do so...
Eliza rolls her eyes a bit.
Eliza: Oh yes, sometimes you almost went a whole day without spewing something lovey dovey all over Twitter.
Bobbi: Eliza please...
Bobbi says feeling like this is heading in a direction she doesn't wish this to go and tries to derail it.
Bobbi: Look, clearly Alexa is a very sore subject for you. If you aren't ready to talk about her, we don't have to. I feel like we have plenty of things to work out between us before we have to worry about anyone else. Right...?
The blonde questions feeling like she's trying to diffuse a bomb and they haven't even gotten a chance to order their food yet. Eliza again takes a deep breath, trying to fight against her temper.
Eliza: ...Fine, we do not need to discuss... her.
She picks her menu up again, scanning its pages with her eyes.
Bobbi: So just about us...
Bobbi says shutting her menu already knowing what she wants.
Bobbi: Why join the Queen's Court? When you know how much that would hurt me. When you know the sole purpose of that group is to try and run me out of the company?
Eliza smirks a bit and shakes her head.
Eliza: Oh, Bobbi, Bobbi, Bobbi... The Court is about one thing... POWER. The ability to enforce our will upon anyone who would deny us what we want.
She looks over at Bobbi with a bit of a lopsided smirk.
Bobbi: See, you say that..and I'm sure that's what Susan told you but...
Bobbi just slouches her in seat again and sighs.
Bobbi: I know for a fact that Susan has tried to follow me all over the globe since I came out of retirement. And while luckily she hasn't been able to sign in some places she's here trying to make my life a living hell. You chose to stand beside her. How do you think that makes me feel? Honestly...?
Eliza: I stand with the winners. The Court WILL get our way, whether I stand with them or get trampled by them like anyone else that gets in the way. Susan sees you as being in her way, that's why you're in her cross hairs.
Eliza rests her elbows on the table, leaning forward a bit.
Eliza: Mustering a resistance DEFINITELY didn't do you any favors in THAT regard.
Bobbi: And what would you propose I do instead? Lay down and let all five of you walk all over me? You damn well know I'm not wired that way. You should be standing with us. Not them.
Bobbi says truthfully not even trying to hide anything from Eliza about how she feels. She's being completely open and honest with the curvy brunette who sits in front of her. Eliza shakes her head, a rather grim expression on her face.
Eliza: You could have been mine and I would have kept you safe, but that's not the path you took. Now we both have to live with that.
Bobbi: You see that's just it...
Bobbi says not willing to accept that for an answer.
Bobbi: You act like all of our futures are already pre-determined. Life doesn't work that way. We all must live with our past choices, but what happens tomorrow? Next week? Next month? These things? We still can change! It's not too late for you to join the Coalition and leave the Court behind.
Bobbi wants to reach out and hold Eliza's hand but doesn't wish to give her the wrong idea or even accidentally offend her, so she just keeps her hands to herself on that side of the booth. Eliza chuckles a bit, though her harsh tone softens a bit.
Eliza: I can't see the future, but I can make predictions based on what I know and I know that Susan can be relentless in her pursuit of whatever she wants. I rather admire that about her.
Bobbi: The problem is Eliza what Susan wants is me out of WWR and that just isn't going to happen. And the fact of the matter is this. Be it Super Tiger tomorrow, me, or someone else, the Coalition is going to make sure Susan loses that World title. When that happens, I hope you're on the right side...
The blonde kinda shrugs a bit.
Bobbi: Because when this is all said and done and the dust settles? I'll be on the winning side and I hope you choose to join us there before its too late.
Eliza: Well, I suppose that's where we'll have to agree to disagree, I do not see a bright future ahead for your Coalition, only ruin. I just hope you make it out okay, I couldn't care less about the rest.
Eliza raises the menu again to eye it, then nods to herself, having decided what she'll have at last, and folds the menu shut.
Bobbi: I suppose so because here's the issue, the future of the Court? It could be VERY bright. If Susan chose to leave well enough alone with me and just worried about herself. But her insistence to continue to fuck with me and my friends will eventually lead to the groups demise.
Bobbi shrugs and sighs.
Bobbi: Not something I'm exactly thrilled about either if I'm being completely honest. Susan was one of my dearest friends, I used to train Eden. Jessica is my sister for crying out loud. There have been points that I've been friends with your sister...and then there is you of course...
Bobbi sighs again, deeper than the last but before she can continue the waiter comes over and takes the two women's orders before heading back to the kitchen to put the order in as the two women just kinda stare at each other for a moment as the blondes train of thought was broken and she doesn't even remember what she was saying.
Eliza: Well, the situation is what it is, but there's no reason we can't be professionals about it and, say, have a nice dinner together regardless. I will... keep your invitation in mind, though.
Eliza again stares across the table into Bobbi's eyes and the blond could swear there's a warmth in her gaze that wasn't there when she arrived. Bobbi smiles at Eliza softly and nods in agreement.
Bobbi: We can absolutely have a nice dinner together. And thank you for keeping it in mind, that's all I ask. I'm not trying to force you to do anything you don't want to do.
Eliza: And I appreciate that.
The brunette gently sighs as she glances to the side briefly.
Eliza: Sometimes I...
She shakes her head.
Eliza: Never mind...
Bobbi raises an eyebrow slightly.
Bobbi: Hey come on now, we're being open with each other right now. Talk to me. What's on your mind?
The blonde asks in a sincere tone wanting to know what Eliza was going to say. Eliza briefly hesitates before she turns back to Bobbi, resting her chin atop her interlaced fingers as she slouches forward a bit.
Eliza: I never feel like Dominique is MAKING me do anything, she knows better than to try bossing me around, but sometimes even though I agree... that doesn't mean I have to like that I do.
Bobbi sighs and nods.
Bobbi: I appreciate what you did on Twitter earlier today. Backing her down when she was clearly trying to put a wedge between us even further. I know we have a match tomorrow, that's part of our job. But that doesn't mean I need to go into that match hating your guts.
Eliza nods a bit in agreement, straightening her back.
Eliza: Yeah, I mean, I DO have to make the match sound good, that's part of the job, as is whooping ass when I get in that ring, but frankly, I'd rather it be that Misti's ass, as it happens I can relate to how sis feels about her...
Bobbi: Oh is that so...?
Bobbi says with a laugh.
Bobbi: If you don't want to kick my ass I guess we should just cancel our Revolutionary title match at Belles on Parade then?
The blonde actually giggles a bit as she leans in a bit and gently smacks Eliza on her elbow that's resting on the table. Eliza sticks her tongue out at Bobbi.
Eliza: Oh I just bet you'd like that, wouldn't you? Just for that, I ain't gonna hesitate tomorrow.
She winks, but the smirk on her lips says she wasn't COMPLETELY joking. Bobbi can't help but grin a bit at the almost playful banter between the two. This almost feeling like the good old times between them when they were dating and incredibly close to one another.
Bobbi: Hey if you hesitated in that ring tomorrow once that bell has rung I'd be disappointed. We always give it our everything in that ring no matter what. And If I have to kick your big ass tomorrow before the pay per view? So be it!
Eliza grins right back at the blonde across the table as she replies confidently.
Eliza: Just admit you'd rather kiss my ass than kick it.
The curvy brunette winks at Bobbi yet again as the blonde blushes terribly. Before she can even respond the waiter returns with Eliza's drink breaking up the conversation as the Phoenix lets out a sigh of relief that this conversation didn't need to continue down that road as the younger Frost sister raises her glass.
Eliza: Here's to doing what we want.
Bobbi: That's fair I suppose...
Bobbi lifts her glass and raises it as well.
Bobbi: But for me? Here's to the two of us trying to become friends again. No matter how long it takes...
The blonde says with hope in her tone as she gently touches her glass to Eliza's before sipping on her drink.
Eliza: I'll definitely drink to that.
Eliza brings her drink to her lips as the scene fades out.
Bobbi sat in the booth looking a bit tired as she sipped on her drink only returning from Japan to the States a few short hours ago.
